The Court’s 2020 Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Application Process remains open through July 6, 2020. Dependent on experience, attorneys who wish to serve as appointed contract counsel on criminal cases may apply to be members of the CJA Panel or the CJA Mentee Attorney Panel. The application and more information on CJA related processes is located on the Court's website at https://www.moed.uscourts.gov/criminal-justice-act-cja.

Any attorney requesting to be a new member of the CJA Panel or CJA Mentee Attorney Program must submit a completed application for membership no later than July 6, 2020. Applications must be sent to the attention of Clerk of Court Gregory J. Linhares by email to MOED_CJA_Applications@moed.uscourts.gov by the deadline stated above. For those selected, new CJA panel member terms will begin in October.

NOTE: Existing CJA Panel attorneys should not reply to this application request. Panel members in the 2020 Renewal Group have been contacted separately with reapplication directions.
